DUB CITY PAINTING - KC DUB
Rising and much rated artist BARRY-JOHN NEVILL who has made a name for himself with his pop art Rock music icons has asked to paint KC DUB from the DUB CITY ROCKERS after seeing her pictures on this site. Brighton locals will have seen Barry's KATE MOSS picture in the NO-NAME bar & restaurant and on all their recent advertsing, you can visit Barry's site by clicking here get in fast his paintings don't hang about... to excuse the pun!... even PAUL WELLER was seen giving Barry's pictures the long once over in the Right Here Right now gallery in Brighton.
We can confirm that the picture above featuring KC in one of her beloved Punkfish tops (check out their excellent site at www.punkyfish.com is the actual picture BARRY will be basing his forthcoming painting on. The picture was taken recently at an interview with the much talked about DUB CITY ROCKERS which will appear here very soon... The wait will be worth it!

Extra gossip... after hearing THE UPSESSIONS excellent debut album the DUB CITY ROCKERS will be using the bands "Hooligan 69" for the basis of a PRINCE BUSTER tribute entitled "Rude Bouy Hooligan" for their debut album... more news soon.

THE BIG SUMMER TOUR!
 UK's top Underground Ska act THE BIG head out over the UK after a blistering recent tour of Germany to promote the release ot their new album "What Ever Makes You Happy" which is now available from all good record shops in the UK. Watch out in the next week for an indepth interview with THE BIG on this site. In the meantime we suggest you spend some of your hard earned cash on their excellent album. Remember this comes as a limited edition 2CD release complete with an eclectic second CD with tracks based on tracks from disc one... How arty is this? No wonder vocalist Ed now looks like a poet!

JULY NEW RELEASES
Brand new CD releases in July 2007 will be the long awaited debut album from RHODA DAKAR entitled "Cleaning In Another Woman's Kitchen" featuring reworked acoustic versions of THE BODYSNATCHERS "Do The Rocksteady", "Easy Life" and "007". Also out in July will be THE RIFFS excellent and limited edition "Live At Club Ska" featuring guest appearances from THE RUTS guitarist PAUL FOX, WINSTON FRANCIS and the legendary DAVE BARKER.
NICKY WELSH's Ska-super group featuring ex-members of BAD MANNERS, SELECTER, BIG 5, LEE PERRY's BAND and KING HAMMOND release their 2-Tone and Glam Rock influenced debut album "1973" in the same month.
AUGUST NEW RELEASES
In August following the new Moon Ska World CD sampler expect the long over due debut release of the finest exponents of Afro-Ska, South Africa's RUDIMENTALS in the shape of their debut album remixed and packaged in a limited edition didipak and with bonus video cuts... the same month sees the debut album from the Jamaican-UK Ska-Reggae collective DUB CITY ROCKERS with their much awaited "Love, Peace, Repect, Faith, Hope, Co-exist" as well as an excellent debut album from a brand new signing...
