South African Afro-Ska act THE RUDIMENTALS will be in the UK in the summer of 2009. First confirmed gig is a spot at the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool which is on between the 6th - 9th August 2009 more details on the festival at rebellionfestivals.com

Plans are also under way for a joint headline tour with THE RUDIMENTALS and our old pals SONIC BOOM SIX.

Birmingham Ska-Punkers FARSE launch their reunion at a hometown gig to be held at the O2 Academy 2 Birmingham on May 9th. South African Ska-Reggae heroes THE RUDIMENTALS step it up a gear down there in South Africa, so a "big up" to their manager Clyde Finlayson and Bong and the boys as they embark on some of their biggest gigs to date already skanking up as the headliners at the 10,000 attendence "Up The Creek" Festival in Swellendam, and then playing to over 5000 people at the "Concerts For A Cause" at Tokai Forest. The Rudies will also be appearing as top of the bill at their own annual 10,000 attendance Festival at Kirstenbosch Garden in Cape Town as well as headlining to over 20,000 people Splashy Fen Festival on Friday 10th April

THE TOASTERS BACK IN EUROPE 2009

We have had quite a few emails asking about the rumours that WHITMORE are going to reform and play some dates in 2009. Most of this has been spurned on by WHITMORE main man ROBB BLAKE's recent successful solo career. All we can say for the moment is watch this space!
