This will be the first ARTHUR KAY & THE ORIGINALS gig in over 6 years and a rare chance to see the UK Ska and Rocksteady legends ARTHUR KAY & THE ORIGINALS return to the stage at The Horsebridge Centre, Whitstable to perform a 'best of' set to celebrate Arthur's Kay's 60th birthday. The band features original Originals Trevor Griggs on keyboards and top London party band drummer Steve Wyse from Left-of-the-Dial. On sax is Roger Goodwin and guitar John Garber from Toot & Ska Men.

Formed in the heady days of 2-Tone ARTHUR KAY & THE ORIGINALS have released 4 albums as well as the collectable 2-Tone classic 70's singles "Ska Wars" and "Play My Record" - the band have now signed to Moon Ska World and will be releasing a new album in 2009.

Support comes from special guests RHODA DAKAR (from 2-tone legends Bodysnatchers and Special AKA) and Nick Welsh (Selecter, Bad Manners, Lee Perry band). DJ set will be supplied by Ska DJ TOAST

Jim Driver's Rhythm Festival enters it's third year and again takes place at the Twinwood Arena in Clapham, north of Bedford, in Bedfordshire. Ska and Reggae acts appearing this year will be:
