DUB CITY ROCKERS ALBUM FINISHED AT LAST

After some 2 years in the making we can announe that the UK/JA Ska-Reggae collective DUB CITY ROCKERS much anticipated debut album "Peace, Love, Faith, Hope, Respect, Co-Exist" is finally finished with mastering polished off last week. The album will contain 16 tracks and will feature some suprsie samples and collaberations with CHRIS MURRAY, a reworked version of "We Do The Ska", and those Dirty Reggae stars THE UPSESSIONS with the PRINCE BUSTER tribute "Rude Boy Hooligan"... THE RUDIMENTALS AND UB40

We can report from dispatches received direct from South Africa that THE RUDIMENTALS went down a storm as special guests on the UB40 tour of South Africa with the band playing to 9000 at the first two shows and a crowd of over 25,000 in Durban! Meanwhile for all you Afro-Skaster fans THE RUDIMENTALS, just fresh from the UB40 shows and the Billabong Jefferies Bay World Surf Champs, will be playing another huge gig in August this time with with the Violent Femmes, Jimmy Eat World, and Groove Armada at the Oppikoppi Music Festival.
SKA AT THE RHYTHM FESTIVAL 2007

Our good friend Jim Driver who used to host the excellent "Club Bang Bang" nights at the 100 Club, and will be back there very shortly with his new Friday club "Strictly Rhythm" has informed us that this years 2007 RHYTHM FESTIVAL will be taking place 3rd, 4th and 5th August at the Twinwood Arena Clapham Near Bedford MK41 6AB UK.
